Context
An AR concept that transforms the Opal card, Sydney’s transport card, into an interactive Sydney train map. The idea was inspired by moments when I needed to check a train map to figure out where I was going, only to find there wasn’t one nearby. I noticed that almost everyone carries their transport card while commuting, so I explored how the card itself could become a gateway to the train network through AR.
Result
Featured on national news (7NEWS), reached half a million views on LinkedIn, published in a Bloomsbury textbook "Introduction to Digital Media Design" as an example project.

I always struggle keeping track and finding my way around a huge conference. A huge conference such as SXSW spanning multiple locations across a city can use AR to help attendees navigate between venues, keep track of their sessions, and stay on top of what’s next on their agenda.
Result
This is a prototype I made for SXSW Sydney 2024 where I ran a workshop on creating no-code AR prototypes.

As someone who find the law and contracts confusing, I tend to reference several sources at a time to fully understand a contract. Through this prototype, I explored how AR can provide virtual and in-context annotations to further explain the content visually in simple layman terms. A collaboration work with Anne Wong.

Context
Demonstrating the use of AR in real estate, it shows which units in a building are available for purchase, with an interactive floor plan that users can zoom in and out of to inspect the property in more detail. I imagine this could be beneficial for off-plan properties that haven’t been built yet, giving potential buyers a better sense of the available units and their layouts before construction is complete.
Result
Prototype created in an internal hackathon when I was working at REA Group.

Context
With the brief of exploring how AR can be used to help people express themselves and connect with communities, I explored how immersive 360° experiences could help people stay connected despite travel restrictions during the pandemic. The concept allows you to share a 360° view of your surroundings with loved ones, giving them the opportunity to experience and feel immersed in the environment you’re in, wherever they are in the world.
Result
Achieved Honourable Mention in a Meta Spark global hackathon and featured on LensList.

I stay most organised with pen and paper. Sometimes, I find myself writing down numbers when tallying expenses, only to have to retype them into a calculator afterwards. So, I created this prototype to explore how AR could detect handwritten numbers and automatically calculate the total, making the process faster and more seamless.

During the pandemic, I was worried to touch buttons in public spaces as COVID-19 could linger on surfaces. As a fun project, I made an AR prototype where buttons can be pressed on your behalf through gestures, also filmed a video with the song "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer.
