Problem

The lack of time to plan for a business turned leisure trip among busy solo business travellers.

Insights

Work hard, play hard.

60% of business trips turned into "bleisure" (business + leisure)

Make it mine!

38% of are frustrated by a lack of personalization in travel recommendations

It's increasing!

18% of global bookings are solo travels with 7% growth rate

User Experience

We determined the idea and user flow of the app and interviewed a few people on it, we found out that people would like to do different things depending on the purpose of the trip and would like to know events that will be happening as well as places to visit. Then, we made the wireframes of the app.

Solution

A personalised travel calendar app for time-poor solo travellers on business trips.

UI Design

I went for a minimal aesthetic to look professional since it is targeted to business people while still incorporating the established branding.

Branding

From the logo, I want to show that it is a calendar app and the "blocks" being the main visual element of the experience. I chose blue and orange as the colour scheme because I want to combine Diner Club's and Discover's branding as most people doesn't know that they are from the same company.
